Guohua Energy Co., Ltd was set up in Dec.1995, affiliated to Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd., with registered capital of RMB117.65 million, jointly held by 4 stock holders, namely Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd., Beijing Energy Investment (Group) Co., Ltd, Beijing Jingneng Thermoelectricity Co., Ltd, and Guohua Industry Co., Ltd.
As of 2006, the total net assets amount to RMB 2.621 billion. The company was found on the basis of modern enterprise system, conforming to the business principal of “stable development, realistic spirit, innovation and high efficiency”, insisting on compliance with laws in business operation. Through investment, debt-for-equity swap, and joint stock, the Company has preliminarily established a substantially strong entity focusing on electricity power and investing in related industry. So far it has totally more than 10 companies which take stock control and purchase of shares in enterprise. The business covers the area of several industries including energy resources, finance, service, and etc. The business emphasis is the industry of infrastructure of power, coal, iron, etc.
The emphasis at present is Wind Power project; the initiating and holding company is Guangdong Jihua Wind Power Co., Ltd. The 1st installed capacity amounts to 16.5 thousand kilo watts, which has been put into operation in May 2003; the installed capacity of Jiadong Wind Power Farm is 20.4 thousand kilo watts and has been in operation since Oct 2006. The initiating and holding company, Guohua (hebei) New Resource Power Co., Ltd’s installed capacity at phase one is 34.5 thousand kilo watts, which has been put into operation in Sept 2005, the installed capacity of phase II amounts to 49.5 thousand kilo watts, which has been put into operation in Nov 2006.
